Reflecting on little snippets of life that mean so very much.  Those snippets are tucked away in a very safe place within and I pray I will forever remember them.  A very special little girl is getting ready to turn 15 in a few days and the idea that we are already here at this stage, she at this age, is so hard to believe.  The time has flown by so quickly.  I can remember her as a baby and it seems like last week.  Seriously, it honestly seems like she was my "mini me" literally weeks ago.  She can't be my "mini me" anymore because she's as tall as I am now and we pretty much wear the same size clothes though the one thing that will never change is the fact that she will always be my baby.  She's so excited about her birthday and cannot wait to be 15.  Here's a little secret - she's actually even more excited to turn 16 but thankfully we still have another year to wait for that big milestone.

I need more time.  More time to swallow what is happening here.  A bit of a chance for me to absorb all that is going on in our lives.  So many changes are taking place and as much as I long for my little people to not grow up so quickly, for them to give me just a little bit more time, I know that is not what is in the plans.  So many chapters will end and so many new stories will be told.

So happy and blessed she chose me to be her mommy (yes, she chose me and she will tell you she chose me because God gave her the choice between another mommy and me and she chose me because she says I was pretty) and so excited for the special birthday party that is on the horizon.
