THE Charlie Brown TREE IS UP AND TWINKLING BRIGHTLY.........

No time to blog since I've been running kiddos around all day for dental appointments, eye doctor check-ups and chiropractic appointments and I'm working tonight to make up for not working today but what the heck, I'll do it anyway. So thankful for the flexibility.

We did manage to get our tree up on Saturday and it looks beautiful. Eric calls it the Charlie Brown tree since it is so tall and skinny. (Yes, note the wide-open windows behind the tree - it is that warm here but from what the Weatherman says, we're in for a big change come Wednesday evening and on.) I have started decorating for Christmas the weekend before Thanksgiving because I began hating going through the whole process on Thanksgiving Day. I felt all I did was work and between cooking, cleaning up turkey dinner and putting up the tree that is basically what I did, too. What on Earth is there to enjoy about a day filled with nothing more than work when you are supposed to be thankful and enjoying loved ones?

The kids wanted to put the train around the tree so they've had fun playing with it for the past few days and driving Eric and I nuts with the toot-toot sound. It is just so hard to believe the Holiday season is here.

It's a busy week for me, again. I think I need to start saying 'no' to more things so that I can enjoy my life because I really feel as if I am still treading water trying to catch my breath. I have so much that I want to do and I am not making time for it (yes, I have a problem with making time for things I WANT to do because I am always taking care of everyone else and I have the awful label of 'work-a-holic' here at home) and it is driving me nutty. Any suggestions? Anyone........

Okay, back to work.
