The 21 Challenge: Day 3

I feel that Day 3 was a success.  I did ten miles on my bike today.  And I was definitely reminded moments after I got on my bike that I rode 9-1/2 miles yesterday.  Somehow I was thinking I wouldn't even be able to tell - boy was I wrong!  I feel good and am so happy that I did it.  I actually was able to walk away from my work and convince myself it was okay.

I've also been playing with photos but haven't really done anything artsy today.  I still have a bit of time left in my day so we'll see what transpires.

I was all gung-ho to take some photos of a finished project for Scrappin' Bunnies Page in a Bag contest which I have to participate in to keep my seat on the Design Team but we had a thunderstorm roll in and it continued to rain and before long it got dark so that will wait until tomorrow.

I did get photos of this little project I did for the DT using Fancy Pants On a Whimsy papers.  I used 4 papers (this one, this one, this one and this one) a package of 2 flowers from Prima (these but in the color fire) and a yard of ribbon and tons of glue stick!  I hand-cut the pages from templates I cut out with the Accu-cut at the last local class Janet Hopkins held thanks to the wonderful Leslie McFarland.  I really think it turned out wonderful.

The rain is back and I will consider the time I spent in PSE5 (so need to upgrade to 7) tonight as part of my creative time because technically I was playing with my photos and with frames and layers and that is definitely creative!

Next Saturday I am taking a class with the wonderfully talented Stephanie Rubiano.  Just going to her site and browsing all the beautiful artwork makes my heart sing.  So happy to be able to finally take a class with her and make her beautiful butterfly box.....something I have been waiting to do for a really, really long time!
