15 years ago tonight I had given birth to a beautiful baby boy.
15 years ago at this moment he was just a little over 13 hours old.
15 years ago my life was forever changed.
15 years have come and gone, never to be experienced again, merely memories of what has been.
15 years ago I knew I was blessed with an absolutely amazing child.
15 years ago I only had hopes, wishes and dreams for my son.
Today I see the handsome son I have been blessed with.
Today I again talk about his birth and relive the memories of holding him for the first time, looking down into his beautiful eyes and knowing that I had never loved anything or anyone more than I love this child and that I would do whatever it took to take care of him and protect him from the big bad "Wolf" and the monsters under the bed.
Today I look back and remember the beautiful moments spent with my son and I look forward to what is ahead.
Today I know what a truly amazing kid he is.
Today I still have hopes, wishes and dreams for him.
Today I know will pass ever so quickly and will be gone, never to be experienced again, while more memories are stored away and only felt in the heart.............
I know my prayers were answered the day I found out I was having a boy. My prayer was that God would first give me a son and then a daughter.
He does answer prayers.
I am so grateful that this prayer was answered.

I just caught up on your blog a little, haven't been here for a while. You do such a good job of expressing yourself. And, I can tell how great your kids are by reading about how much you love them. They are so blessed to have a mom like you!
BTW, when you were talking about dogs on one post I thought of Champion! I was surprised to read you don't have a dog now because I remember how much you loved that dog and just figured you would always have a dog:)
I'm going to add your blog to my list on my blog so I remember to come more often:)
God sure does answer prayers, and even beyond what we could ever ask for! here is my great big all the way from Canada AMEN to that!!! I love your words and that picture is just priceless. Take care my friend :)
